Who we are
Chaffinch Windows & Doors supplies and installs uPVC windows, composite and uPVC doors, French and patio doors, sliding sash and casement windows, and roofline. We’re a family-run business, and when you call, you speak to the people who’ll survey and fit your job.
We believe a new window or door should be judged on more than how it looks on day one. It should close smoothly, lock properly, keep the weather out and still be doing that years from now. That comes down to good products and careful fitting.
How we work
Every job starts with a free survey at your home. We measure every opening ourselves, talk through styles, colours and glass, and give you a clear written quote. There’s no pressure to book.
On fitting day we protect your floors and furniture, take the old frames out carefully, fit and seal the new ones, and clear up and take the waste away. We finish by walking you through how everything opens, locks and should be looked after.
FENSA registered
FENSA is the scheme that lets installers self-certify that replacement windows and doors meet Building Regulations. We register every installation, and you receive a FENSA certificate. You’ll need it if you sell your home, so keep it with your house documents.
HomePro insurance-backed guarantee
Every installation is backed by a HomePro insurance-backed guarantee of up to £15,000. If something goes wrong with the work and we’re no longer able to put it right, the insurance protects you.
After we’ve gone
Our service doesn’t end when the van leaves. If you have a question, need maintenance advice or something needs adjusting, call or message us and we’ll help.
